Four steps.

1. Sign in on the members page with the Google account your subscription is under.
2. Download the Mac installer from your members page and drag AUTOMATA into Applications.
3. Open it. The first time, macOS may say it can't check the developer — right-click the app, choose Open, then Open again. One-time step.
4. Sign in inside the app with the same Google account. AUTOMATA checks the subscriber list and lets you in.

Needs macOS 13 or newer, Apple silicon or Intel.

AUTOMATA checks for a newer version each time it opens. When one is ready you see one box — Restart now or Later — and the old version is replaced. Nothing to download by hand, nothing to clean up.

The fine print, short.

• One sign-in per evaluator. Practice plans cover several evaluators — each signs in with their own Google account.
• Offline? Once signed in, the app keeps working for a while without a connection, then asks again.
