AUTOMATA · live demo

Change a score. Watch the report change.

This is AUTOMATA's compose-and-verify engine running in your browser. Edit any standard score on the left; the percentile, confidence interval, descriptor, and every sentence that depends on it update on the right — and every number in the prose stays traceable to its cell.

What's real here: percentiles are computed from the normal curve (mean 100, SD 15); descriptors use the publisher's band table for the selected instrument; the strength/weakness logic compares each index to the student's own mean. What's simplified: the 95% CI uses a nominal SEM per instrument for illustration. The full AUTOMATA reads the publisher's own CI and percentile tables from the score report, and a printed value always wins over a computed one. What's not here: the upload-and-extract step (PDF → data sheet), the score graphs and tables, your template and house style, prior-testing comparisons, eligibility reasoning, and the score-specific recommendations — see the sample report for those. Start a subscription or write to us to see those on your own report.
